Mykhailo Krasnyk

Mykhailo Krasnyk (1959) is a Ukrainian painter and graphic artist, one of the founders of semiotic abstraction and assemblage in Ukrainian art. His body of work includes experiments with folk art archetypes, landscapes, and metaphysical fantasies. His art is distinguished by a commitment to structural analysis of imagery, the deconstruction of conventional compositional canons, and the pursuit of a new aesthetic.
